Arm Chair Travel
 
This is the ‘original’ travel group.  Guest speakers and club members share their travel adventures and experiences in the US and abroad through slide presentations and videos.  Join us for a friendly social hour followed by a delicious potluck and presentation.  The group usually meets four times a year the last Sunday of the month at 4:00 PM.  Contact:  Jan Van de Werfhorst.

Day Trippin'
 
Special educational day trips are planned in the community or neighboring cities.  The trips may include museum exhibits, park tours, visits to sites with architectural interest, gardens, plays 'n dinners, churches, music, ethnic dances, concerts, or jazz in the garden, to name just a few.  Contact: Rose Marie Everett.

Great Decisions

Great Decisions meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30PM.  At the beginning of each year the Foreign Policy Association publishes a Great Decisions briefing book.  This book presents eight of the most important foreign policy issues facing the USA.  Reference and resource material is included to help prepare you for discussion.  Cost for reference book is $20. New Images is a Women’s support group for sharing and discussing issues/problems that are affecting our personal lives today.  The group meets for one hour every Thursday morning 10:00AM at Mission Coffee, Washington Blvd.  Contct Joyce Ruiz

Book Chatters
 
Book Chatters meet the fourth Thursday of the month 2:00 - 3:30 PM.  We read fiction and non-fiction books that are usually best sellers and/or prize winners.  We meet at Alison Kieft’s house at 41204 Thurston Street, Fremont unless otherwise noted.  Contact her for more information.

Book Exchange
 
Book Exchange reads the best sellers in an innovative and fun format.  It’s recommended that books be hardback, fiction or nonfiction.   The procedure is that your book is passed on at the end of each month until all books have been read by each participant.  You receive your own book back at the end of the year.  Contact:  Aileen Fox.

Day Lit
 
Day Lit meets the second Thursday of the month at 11:30 AM at members’ homes.   Members bring their lunch and the hostess provides dessert and beverage.   Book selections made the last meeting of the year.  Contact:  Judy Colby.

Evening Book Talk meets on a Monday every six weeks at 7:15PM.  The group selects contemporary fiction books no more than five years old.  Contact:  Kathy Bray.
